Scholarships for Farmers
Goosefoot and the Goose Grocer are pleased to make two scholarship opportunities available for those farming or interested in farming on Whidbey Island.
WSU Extension's Cultivating Success course, Sustainable Small Acreage Farming & Ranching
September 21 - December 2017 at the Island County WSU Extension office in Coupeville
The Goose Grocer is offering two (2) full scholarships of $260 each, which includes attendance for up to three (3) farmers or family members from the same farm. You do not need to be currently engaged in agricultural production to apply for this scholarship.
Applications are due Wednesday, August 30, 2017.

**Please note that we will also be offering two scholarships to the Cultivating Success Agricultural Entrepreneurship and Business Planning course which begins in January 2018.

The Goose Grocer is offering five (5) partial scholarships of $200 each. You must currently be active in agricultural production to apply.
